This is the page of the WA school holidays for 2021. WA term breaks are 15-16 days in the autumn through spring, with around a 1 & a half month break in summer.
WA School Holidays 2021 Term 1 (Autumn)
The Term 1 break is between 15-16 days, from the beginning of April to the middle. The break includes Good Friday and Easter and usually has temperatures between 14-26 degrees.
This is a great season for seeing WA’s natural beauty. Whether it’s Kings Park with its huge botanical garden, or Jewel Cave with its captivating features, there’s plenty to explore!

WA School Holidays 2021 Term 2 (Winter)
The Term 2 School holidays fall during WA’s winter, where the weather is typically between 8-18 degrees.
It’s also WA’s rainy season, so it’s a perfect time to visit the many museums and indoor attractions WA has to offer!
From the Perth Mint, to the National Anzac Center to the Bell Tower, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the winter break!

WA School Holidays 2021 Term 3 (Spring)
The Term 3 holiday usually lasts 15 days and typically contains the King’s Birthday public holiday.
Not only is this a good holiday opportunity during the break, but the warming weather in WA is a great time to go out and enjoy nature!
The rainy season is ending and the weather has yet to reach its full summer peak, so now is a great time to explore some places around the state!
Places like Swan River, The Pinnacles and Lake Cave are sure to make this break interesting and unforgettable!

WA School Holidays 2021 Term 4 (Summer)
As this term holiday includes Christmas, New Year’s, and Australia Day, there’s so many good public holiday activities and great opportunities to enjoy them!
It’s also summer in WA, which makes for some sunny weather, typically between 19-32 degrees.
It’s a great time to visit some of WA’s amazing beaches, like Cable Beach and Turquoise Bay!
The cities of WA also have some great holiday celebrations and festivals, so make sure you save some time for those!
